...Which is why I'm using this as a way to not only show the cool stuff I've watched over the course of uhhhh several years, but to also keep track of it all myself. Maybe someday I'll add comments to them all, who knows?
- Emperor's New Groove (2000) - My. Childhood. I might still have the VHS tape for this one lying around somewhere. Holy shit I love this movie. Kuzco is such a loveable bastard and his dynamic with Pacha is wonderful to see evolve throughout the movie. The Brazilian dub is amazing btw.

- Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002) - "If you've got an ass, I'll kick it!" This movie is just "give a guy a greenscreen and some old foreign movies and let him go wild" done hilariously well. It's basically an affectionate parody of old kung-fu movies in the form of a big ol' shitpost that you quote for the rest of your life. No, we do not talk about the cow scene.

- I'm Still Here (2024) - Hoo boy, this one. Based on real events, this movie is a view into 1970s Brazil, during the harshest years of the military dictatorship, showing the aftermath of Rubens Paiva's family after he was kidnapped by the government. Not an easy movie to watch at all, but a damn good one either way. If you or anyone you know lived through this period of Brazil's government, be prepared for tears. It can fuck you up and it's one hell of an experience.
- Flow (2024) - This movie is an EXPERIENCE. Absolutely gorgeously stunning and surprisingly emotional, this adorable cat movie managed to tug on my heartstrings with zero dialogue. Went into the screening with zero idea what the movie was about, left with my mind blown and heart destroyed ;w;

- Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc (2025) - As someone who's followed Chainsaw Man through the manga rather than the anime, I already knew how this movie would play out, AND IT STILL IMPRESSED ME, HOLY SHIT. The decision to make this arc a feature length movie rather than part of the anime's second season was already a bit of a surprise to me, but DAMN, Mappa cooked with this one. The animation was stunning, the pacing was perfect and holy FUCK the music was GOOD, Kensuke Ushio and Kenshi Yonezu really don't miss (also I was ready to jump out of my seat when I heard Maximum the Hormone).

- Iron Lung (2026) - HELLO EVERYBODY MY NAME IS MARKIPLIER AND WELCOME TO-- a very cool adaptation of the original game by David Szymanski (who was also involved in this!). Though I personally never really played the game, I did know quite a bit of the lore to kinda have an idea of what direction the movie would go, and yet it STILL surprised me with the things it added (and/or I wasn't aware of in the game). Absolutely worth the tickets to watch it on the big screen, and I'm really, really glad Mark made it work to bring the movie to theaters in Latin America.
